Designer + Creative Strategist

Emily Sussette is a Dominican-Peruvian designer and creative strategist, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. A recent graduate from Ithaca College where she studied both communications and design, she started her journey professionally in Public Relations where she excelled in strategic storytelling across the current media and digital landscapes. Other areas of expertise also include digital strategy, brand partnerships, and social media management. Throughout her time at Ithaca College, Emily also launched Fleurescent Nails, where she sells original, hand-painted nail art designs that exist at the intersection of art and popular culture.

Growing up around her family's collection of gold, Emily had grown quite an affinity towards jewelry, and it was only a matter of time before she decided to pursue the craft of jewelry and accessory design. Inspired by the structure, movement, and play of both everyday objects and other creative works, Emily's designs showcase her vulnerability - transmuting hidden parts of herself into beautiful pieces for the world to see.
